Some of the people who hang around this forum continue to reinforce my pessimistic outlook on the future of the human race. No more updates. Developers on the street. Future status of the game servers unclear. But hey, I'm just gonna ignore all that and whine about Bright Dust.

I feel like what we have is pretty decent honestly.

10 RepliesEdited by FReyeD Inc: 7/14/2026 11:31:13 PM1000 from orders 1000 from weekly reward track 420 from daily objectives (60x7 days) 300 from weekly objective 250 from three quickplays 250 from three crucible control matches 3220 bright dust per week Originally this would take 322 bounties per week to accomplish, or 46 bounties a day. Im all for more bright dust, but the amount we get now is the most we have ever gotten per week during anytime the game has been around. Plus they are easier to get, and no bounties to pick up, no full bountes in the quest tab, and you can pre grind for orders for the next week! The second best time to farm bright dust was during the Dawning, where you farm cookies. Aquire bounty, bake cookie, deliver cookie, gain 10 bright dust. Boring and not efficient. Bright dust will be way easier to use now, so it will look like we arent getting any at all, but the amount now per week is greater than ever. Edit : if you want to efficiently spend your bright dust, start farming Bright Engrams. Some of the items are cheaper in bright dust with a bright engram focus.

3 RepliesExactly 900 bright dust just trying to get ornaments and it takes two weeks to get that much

1 ReplyThey do... Vanguard daily and weekly Vanguard alert challenges... I'm buying things everyday almost and can't spend it fast enough... Sitting at almost 50k with little to buy...
-
have you tried actually playing? in order to get the bright dust now, one must play the game. there is plenty to earn each week.
-
I don’t play Destiny for bright dust… It’s just a bonus.
-
1 ReplyAt this point they don't care if you play or not.
-
7 RepliesBut that would give you eververse stuff for free when they want you to throw money on it
-
3 RepliesI agree to a certain extent, the fact is that they should’ve made the weekly cap for bright dust non existent like they did in the past for repeatable bounties. I know guys that have 50k+ dust at this very moment bc of those bounties, me personally i had 15k saved up and now im at almost 2k so I get where ur coming from. The only thing u can realistically do is maximize your weekly bright dust gains which is 3500-4000 a week i believe. And if you want a lil extra don’t focus for specific pieces just open it raw and you might get bright dust piles.

You’re only playing for eververse then you won’t play for long
-
I'm honestly wanting to know what makes you think they care about your playtime now?
-
What do you mean a reason to play, the game is on its last leg just enjoy the game and try things you never done before
-
They moved on and so should you.
-
They won't, because they want you to buy silver.
