It’s natural but entirely impractical to wanna switch up. Everyone knows the phrase faster to switch than reload? You would have to let go of your main gun if you don’t use both hands or hold it in a bad position with your off hand. So then you need to either pick it back up and or manipulate back into position. I carry my pistol on my left side whenever I use a rifle or shotgun. That way I can still hold the bigger gun properly but draw and shoot with my free hand, fire it, holster then clear/reload primary. If you shoot try it

Nope. They are intentionally different hands. And it would be worse for gameplay reasons. If you want to peek with a grenade you go left, if you want to do so with a melee you go right.
