Title.
In years past reporting worked at least some of the time. I rec'd a number of Bungie "thank yous".
Very recently, seen unkillable players....taking zero damage from any source. But with no live service....is this is where it lands? Or, does it come down to PS reporting?
And I don't want to hear bullshit responses, been at this since day 1, D1.

Should be used to it by now as Bungie have never had a working anti-cheat system in the game
-
Technically Battle Eye is still getting updated which 'supposedly' would cover PC at least.

4 RepliesAs long as there's peer-to-peer there will be cheaters in Destiny 2

Every game has cheats. Some more game breaking than others. The anti cheat arms race has only created more issues for those of us who play by the rules. Some enforcement is necessary, but what that enforcement looks like is never the same. Personally I’d love to see Destiny to take an ironic approach. The more the person cheats the more errors show up in their stats. Oh you have perfect aim for several games your KD stats go to 0. And stay there. Or some other glitch. Something easy to program especially since this game is in maintenance mode.

3 RepliesTo be honest I will love the day instead of trying to defend against cheating a anti cheating system actually attacks and disconnects the computer/console from the internet each time it detects it

Ngl I’ve noticed a few people in PvP recently just not taking flinch at all and they hit perfect shots through heavy flinch. Fair enough sometimes I’ll say it’s just aim control but when it happens so often I genuinely think some people are just cheating -
2 RepliesTo be fair, Destiny players have ALWAYS been stuck with cheaters in PvP.
-
yes, they are a skeleton crew that only fixes monster breaks by disabling things any cheats will continue, reporting works eventually if enough reports come in but most cheaters use multiple f2p accounts
-
In reality, all games are stuck with cheaters until such time that: 1. Makers stop creating cheats. 2. Players stop feeling the need to cheat & buying/using them. 3. Game devs find ways to not allow them into the game.
-
Well.. we've been stuck with them the last decade or so and they were not banned anyways.. So.... nothing new

Welcome to the end of life of every end of development multiplier game. Why act surprised?

First day? It's been that way since D2 first came to PC.

I can only see myself playing pvp till I I’m fed up with it . Spare rations , vex, rose …actually hand cannons in general . Forever meta It is what it is ….who knows the servers could be shut down especially with marathon doing so badly now .

Not forever. Just until the servers are shut down.
