So, the transfiguration of Earth caused by three’s death was prevented by the return of the Traveler, returning the earth to how it should be.
But, if the traveler were to leave again, what would happen?
Would the terraformation remain?
Or would the transfiguration resume due to the planet still having no ‘living’ fourth dimensional host?

What if the traveler decided to burrow down into the planet and become the core? Think that would satisfy some things. Man, the places this story could have gone, just not sure if live service, or even fps did it justice. At this point I would rather just have a novel on the logical progression of the sciences utilized, and their theories on the evolution of their designs and ideas.

3 RepliesSo, the Traveler is actively Terraforming the Earth back into a more habitable state, after it had healed from the Damage inflicted upon it by the Witness. That is to say, the Traveler is back to how it was during the Golden Age, but with a portal stuck to the front of it and Darkness within its heart. Still though, because Earth is Dying, the Traveler has to constantly Terraform Earth back to how it was. I can see three possible solutions. We form, create, or revive a New III, to replace the dead III as spirit of the Earth. The Traveler remains on Earth indefinitely, taking on the role of Earths Spirit, albeit without the power of the Nine in that it can’t vote or dissuade the actions the Nine take, leaving them at 8. That, or we find another Echo (there might be more than 3), and we use it to Terraform Earth like what Eramis is doing to old Riis with the Echo do Riis. all that being said, we won’t ever know. :/
