It is impossible to stun a barrier champion with antibarrier primaries. Please increase the shield damage they do.

My favorite Anti-Barrier Primary is Gjallarhorn

4 RepliesAnything with Under Over, Adaptive Munitions, Kinetic Tremors, or a Void weapon if you have Volatile Marksman on Tablet of Ruin will do great The new Horror Story gets Under Over and Target Lock or Headstone if you like Stasis builds. It's a good shield popper. The Seraph SMG from the Cosmodrome also gets Seraph Rounds and Disruption Break and I've been enjoying that with the VoG sniper's Kinetic Tremors and Precision Instrument combo

Erianas vow. Whishender. Lightsaber. Or if you feel a bit more destructive... Rocket to the face.

If you’re in Vanguard Ops activities, the champions, even Barriers, are pretty easy to take out. Praxic Blade is still the best anti-barrier in the game (in my humble opinion), however, several options exist so you can mix and match. If you’re talking Grand Master Conquests, the barrier shields are rather tanky. For example Scarlet Keep has sixteen of them! Anyway, even Wishender takes multiple shots to break/stun the champion. That said, if you wear Techsec gear (just two pieces), you’ll do more damage to shields making Wishender, or any other anti-barrier primary far more effective. I have completed three of the GM conquests solo, however, am still working on Scarlett Keep. It has proven to be rather “trying”. Anyway I hope this helps. Also, if you would like some help going through any of these, just drop a message, and I’ll be happy to assist.

1 ReplyIf you're using a solar primary as your antibarrier, Burning Ambition inherits the breaker trait effectively keeping their regen off.

TheLastBlackKnightGodsbane title is worthless. - old
I manage it with fatebringer -
1 ReplyTrendsetter with jolting feedback does wonders right along with Ringing Nail incandescent burning ambition. At one time I was running either of those switching to Dragons Breath, then back to Pluperfect with kinetic tremors if using Trendsetter but with Running Nail with the aforementioned perks to get those solar ignitions going like crazy especially if using the solar subclass. So it's not really hard just use something with maybe higher dps or stronger aoe.

Was using the summoner just fine for barriers in dungeons

Tips below (I've been running ultimate solo ops no issue at least with these):
...and funny story I didn't even have any artifact perks activated... none.. zero.. zilch... just thought my artifact was still active from pre Jun9
#1 >> Biting Winds > Archers Tempo + Kinetic Tremors ...its extremely powerful.. KT bows especially drops from: Europa world drop from something or other cannot be focus/bounty farmed as far as I know #2 >> Rewind Rounds + KT Scathelocke note: Its Kinetic Tremors that is the key for all these primaries (explosive payload ok as well) although jolting feedback if I recall is a good option - I also take a heavy armor piercing with me if needed (Chain of Command.. excellent PVE options double damage as well with adrenaline in 3rd column) Others Explosive Payload: Forced Memorializer is ok with both explosive and KT but its actually D.F.A. with explosive + attrition orbs thats pretty solid > prints orbs as explosive counts as 2 shots or something... Jolting: Vantage Point jolting feedback... I think King Orfeo jolt might be worth a shot and now just thinking about it... probably withering gaze via gnawing hunger or other weapon makes sense to me... and maybe even buring ambition via ringing nail or other worth a test -
Just for laughs I ran the Perdition lost sector at Master difficulty using nothing but an arc adaptive frame AR with jolting feedback so that it could handle both champs. Took a while... I wouldn't want to try at -50. Generally if you choose to use a primary for barrier champs you'll want one with specific perks that do extra damage to barriers and/or damage over time. The stunloader mod probably doesn't hurt either.

I agree that running solo it's difficult to kill them as every time you have to re-load it gets most of it's health back The only workaround is to have a sword and go for broke once the shield is down Will they buff all anti-barrier primaries when the entire sandbox team was made redundant? We're probably stuck with it TBH
