so wtf are we supposed to do about choppiness in the game on PC??

they left this in a crap position for those of us on PC I was enjoying the update too... they f'd it up what is the solution Sony/Bungo? How is this resolved?? ------ edit > update (maybe will help someone) Just updating that today (Thur 9th) has been smooth - did not notice any stuttering in PVE or PVP... trying different things if I figure out why will let you know... (I did just get a watercress issue though) watercress issue for destiny 2 google below

In Destiny 2, Watercress is a general networking and connection error code. It typically occurs when the game servers fail to properly close a player's previous session, or when console players experience connectivity and caching issues. To fix this error, try these actionable troubleshooting steps:Restart the game and clear your cache: Completely close out of Destiny 2 and restart your platform. If on console, fully power cycle the system. If on PC, clear your cache in the Steam Launcher or Epic Games Launcher.Reset your network: Power cycle your router and modem. Ensure you are using a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi for better stability.Check NAT Settings: Ensure your NAT type is set to "Open" in your network settings.

...one thing different is I restarted my computer before starting up D2.. may have led to better performance... I dont think it requires all the steps above but I will do it if I notice issues if I go back into PVP... edit > clearing Steam cache (its possible Steam did this on their own because I had to choose who I was before I entered Steam and normally it doesn't give me an option it knows its me) clearing Steam Cache instructions in spolier (will close down active game and log you out of Steam)

To clear your Steam download cache, open Steam, click Steam in the top left, and select Settings (or Preferences on Mac). Choose the Downloads tab, click Clear Cache (or Clear Download Cache), and click Confirm. You will need to log back in afterwards.
