This is a question for the raiders. Hypothetically speaking, of course, how many of you are OK with "shadowing" someone who's interested in learning the salvation edge witness fight. What I'm saying is, for example, I do the mechanics, and the one that's shadowing me is close by to make sure I do what I am supposed to do.

2 RepliesI mean, thats how every group should be in a raid where someone wants to learn a role. There were a lot of times over the years that we would only have 5 people and either try to find someone who would be willing to learn something or just 5 man it. Im just not able to offer as often as Id like because of scheduling conflicts with my friends.

I've done this a few times for people in sherpa runs. Usually only when people are struggling to pick something up, but it wouldn't bother me if someone learning requested that. If you're comfortable with discord, it is also somewhat common in some communities to have someone watching you do the encounter in a screenshare. I've only really done that with people for stuff like solo witness though.

1 ReplyIt's been some time, but that's kind of what we have done. Just start the encounter, explain as we go, and ofc expect to wipe at some point during explanation. As often as needed until whoever it's explained to feels comfortable.

2 RepliesI'd recommend finding a clan that does this stuff. A good place to start looking is/are the community clans for people like SneakyBeaver.
