Bungie, what are you even doing?
Bungie, what are you doing? Marathon is a train wreck. The game is fun, but you're only going to grab a small number of players. What is even going on inside the studio right now? Are you even trying to get more players? You're taking away popular modes because they're "experiments" and then nerf weapons into the ground. I really don't understand what you're trying to do with this game. Are you trying to turn it into a Marathon/Destiny hybrid or are you trying to just go straight MP with it in a niche genre that is already occupied by Tarkov, Ark, and several others? Guys, you make amazing single player and co-op first person shooters, why are you wasting your talent on a niche market that has no future?

Marathon is a tragedy. It began with a tainted reputation. This season has not gone well. The game has many improvements over D2, such as no armor grind and easy modification of stats, but it is probably too late to save the game. I stopped playing Marathon over a week ago. My Cradle is close to max. Now I launch the game every day, collect the free items, convert them to matter, and hope something might change.
