You want Destiny 3? Here is how to do it.

Sony needs an estimate of 500M to become Reality. So if you want Destiny 3 that badly, here is what you do. Start a Go Fund Me and start getting the money for the Game you want so badly.

  • Destiny has 10x the player base of maraflop. Maraflop will eventually die and sony will realize that destiny is the way forward. They'll give bungie more $$$ and have them create D3. If this doesn't happen, not only will both maraflop and destiny get shut down, but so will bungie.

I’d like to give you the benefit of the doubt that this is meant to be tongue-in-cheek, but someone posted a link to an actual GoFundMe campaign with that aim to these forums just last week, suggesting that at least some people may consider this a viable route to getting a Destiny 3. On that basis I’ll say the same thing here that I pointed out to the person that posted that link: The most money raised by a single GoFundMe campaign was $45.1 Million for America’s Food Fund, which disbursed the funds to food banks across the US to help feed people during and immediately after the US Covid lockdown. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GoFundMe (consult the List of Projects dropdown menu) The campaign was founded by Leonardo DiCaprio and Laurene Jobs (widow of Steve Jobs) in coordination with Apple Inc and the Ford Foundation (a social justice advocacy firm based out of NYC, not to be confused with the Ford Motor Company), and received a great deal of free publicity due to their ties with the entertainment and tech industries alongside built-in awareness among the general public due to the ongoing global pandemic. The idea of crowdfunding even half of $45M, let alone over ten times that amount, to fund development for a video game sequel on behalf of a corporation with pockets as deep as Sony’s (especially during such trying financial times as these) seems unrealistic to put it lightly. • Why should we pay for a company that makes triple digit Billions in revenue? The Suits already have a plan that they are sticking too and Destiny is not involved. They would take your 500M and fund some AI or something like it.
