Don’t know if this applies to your situation, but if your controller has [b]Trigger Locks[/b] that prevent the Triggers from being fully depressed you may want to try deactivating them to see if that allows you to boost during this section. If that doesn’t work or is irrelevant you might also try changing your controller bindings for the encounter, specifically swapping your Bumper and Trigger functionality; this can be done by going to the [b]Options[/b] tab, opening the [b]Controller[/b] submenu, selecting the [b]Button Layout[/b] option and then toggling [b]Swap Shoulder Buttons[/b] to On.
