Getting kind of bored of doing the same activities all the time and I'm unable to run raids and dungeons due to a nervous tic I can't get rid of, scared to use my mic. But I dipped into the coil activity yesterday, haven't touched the coil in years now, I always found it stupid hard. But the difficulty is now tuned down a lot to a point where you're not getting one shot by a red bar enemy. I ran the whole thing, my matchmade team stayed for the full session, got the S tier rating. Honestly I'm enjoying the coil more than onslaught.
I got a chroma rush with MAX STABILITY steady rounds, subsistence and kinetic tremors or target lock. Insane for PVP and PVE. I got a BUNCH of mint retrogrades (Still no sever perk!) but I got a hatchling and chain reaction which is actually nuts. You get loads of materials, glimmer, prisms, cores.
Here's my advice, always without a doubt buy the revives with your shards, the one puzzle which drains your revives is the spike one, the walls will push you off or you'll be impaled by the spikes, and the harpies that explode make it stupidly hard. They also respawn so you can't just clear out the area first.
Each round, get about 10 revive tokens with your shards and the rest spend on whatever you need. I make sure I have:
My hunter shinobus vow build, health on grenade kills and ascension tempest strike, I have a mint retrograde on, gjallarhorn and lotus eater for the void damage and shields. Run 2 special ammo finders. I don't have a titan and warlock, but anything with devour or frost armour is super important.
Tons of rewards at the end, tier 5 pinnacle loot, want that god roll palindrome? Run this, they drop like candy at the end. Each run with a decent team takes about 20 minutes ❤️

1 ReplyI hate any activity with revive tokens. I'm not even attuned to Palindrome but i get about four of them from running Onslaught. But good to know the Coil is being enjoyed.
