weasel error code

I'm on Steam (PC), and for the past week I've been getting the WEASEL error constantly. It started by disconnecting me after about 10 minutes of playing, but now it's even worse, I usually get a WEASEL error as soon as I try to load into the game, so I can't play at all. I've tried everything I can think of, including reinstalling the game, verifying the game files, switching between Wi-Fi and Ethernet, and even using a completely different internet connection, but nothing has worked. At this point I'm out of ideas. If anyone knows a fix or has had the same issue, I'd really appreciate the help.
