Cross Save - help
I’m returning to Destiny after not playing for about five years. I originally played on Xbox, and several years ago I linked my Bungie account to an old Steam account.
I no longer have access to that Steam account and do not know the email associated with it. Because of this, I cannot authenticate the Steam account on the Cross Save page, and I’m unable to complete or manage my Cross Save setup.
Is there any way to unlink the old Steam account from my Bungie profile, or is there any account recovery/assistance option available for this situation?

Edited by BNGHelp9: 7/5/2026 9:38:03 PMHey there, Steam always allows an attempt to recover the account, loss of the email attached to it is not necessarily a barrier. https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/3944-4D89-1B3E-27DE Here on Bungie's side, there is not much that can be done. As of March 2025 it is no longer possible to unlink platform accounts from a Bungie Account - but before this, it was still impossible to unlink an account that could not be authenticated. Without being able to authenticate the Steam account, you cannot set cross-save up. If you're just looking for a PC option and are trying to cross-save across to Epic, you may consider just playing the XBox account directly on PC through the XBox for Microsoft Windows PC store version.
