Hello, I understand that this will likely never be addressed but I didn't see anyone else talking about it so I'm not sure if it's known. Though, I admit I only did a quick search. After testing multiple auto rifle builds with Targeting Autoloader from both the Hunter's Journal and the NPA Repulsion Regulator I have found that it works fine with any standard Auto rifle whether legendary or exotic so long as the kill results from the rifle itself and not an AoE perk such as Destabilizing rounds, Firefly or dragonfly, etc. I assumed when testing with the Zealous Ideal that it would just refund a portion of the heat generated but it does not. In my testing I could equip any standard rifle and clear out the entire field of Vex Goblins on the shooting range without ever letting go of the trigger. With the Zealous Ideal I think I may have been receiving the damage boost from the perk because you can see it proc on the left of the screen but it does not refund any heat generated. I don't know if this is intentional or not but I figured it should be mentioned in case it is not. So to quickly summarize 1. Equip an artifact with Targeting Autoloader 2. Equip Zealous Ideal with no AoE damage perks. 3. Start shooting enemies 4. Targeting Autoloader will show on The left above your Super energy 5. Watch as heat rises but does not refund. I hope this is right, I've never reported a bug before.
