Cross save issue
Hello,
I recently got a PC and wanted to play Destiny 2 on Steam. However, I completely forgot that years ago I linked my Bungie account to an old Steam account.
The issue is that the Steam account was permanently deleted a long time ago, so i no longer have access to it and it no longer exists
Is there anyway to unlink that deleted Steam account from my Bungie account. I just can't access the old Steam account anymore.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi there, Due to mandatory security policy, Bungie is not able to remove connected platform accounts from Bungie.net profiles under any circumstances. Once a platform account is linked to a Bungie profile, it is permanent unless it is a Twitch account.

Even before the policy change that disabled unlinking accounts, you had to be able to authenticate to an account to remove it, so having it deleted would have already made it so you couldn't unlink it. ------------ Alternative options to play on PC could be using your Epic account, since you already have one linked, and it appears you have Cross-Save enabled.
