Hello there, Thank you for reaching out. Join-in-progress does exist in Crucible on purpose so matches can refill after players leave, but there are supposed to be protections around it. One of those protections is streak protection when you backfill into a match already in progress. Another is a score-delta check that is intended to stop players from being dropped into games where one team is already getting stomped. So if it feels like you are constantly getting thrown into matches that are already halfway over, full of Supers, and effectively decided, that is a reasonable complaint. The system is clearly meant to backfill open spots, but it is also supposed to reduce the worst cases of joining a hopeless match. Joining games in progress is intentional, but getting shoved into bad late matches over and over is exactly the kind of experience those protections are supposed to minimize.
