Hows iron banner for you guys?
Its pretty meh for me.
Randomly typed in "I hate this map" just to get -blam!- talked by my teammate who has worse stats than me.
And i finally got my hands on turncoat and im loving the way it feels so far, and i got a pretty good build planned for it.
And just recently I got a 31 killstreak with glaives alone using a pretty great void survivability build.

2 RepliesI got 2 Iron Lord (We Ran Out of Medals) medals in one day, about 4 matches apart! I've also gotten some really good rolls on a few guns. I'd say it's been a pretty decent go for me.

The reward track isn’t as good as the last one. I like the armor set but not really digging IB this time as much as I did last time

[u]Competition Is Sporadic, But Exellent When Present [/u] I played 4 teams back to back where 4 of the players on the other team had Trials K/Ds above a 2.5.... For reference, our team did NOT have that. Won 3 of 4. Pretty epic. [u]The Constant Messaging Is Hilarious[/u] Besides that, there's the hate mail, accusations of cheating, and trash talk from teammates that usually occurs in 6v6 modes... Its hard to get these things in 3v3 modes. [u]On Average, Its Easier Than 3s[/u] Plus, lots of opportunities for kill streaks and other medals you can't get as easily in 3s. [u]Loot Ieems Solid[/u] The loot is pretty good... New armor is appealing, but I haven't tried it yet. Still working on getting a good Felwinters. [u]Not A Lot Of Quitters[/u] Win or lose, I haven't seen many players quit... Its really nice to finish games that way. [u]Maps Are Better[/u] I haven't gotten a bad map yet. They even improved Dysjubction! I actually enjoy the map now. All in all, IB has been a pretty enjoyable experience for me. Lowkey, I am a little sad I am about to miss the tail end of ot because of vacation plans. EDIT: A 31 kill streak with a glaive... You are a menace. How much hate mail did you get?

I’ve enjoyed it. The new armor set perks are cool. I need to optimize my build, but even without optimization it’s a good a set of armor. Haven’t noticed any of the iron banner weapons really standing out though.

The only reason I was even playing was for the Iron Panapoly set, soooo… I did finish the event track and hung around for a few matches after. Might hop on a bit this weekend, but there’s nothing here for me.

This IB is the worst, I expect our pvp history to be reversed. I'm running a 2 tap cannon hc, there is only so many times I can put 5 to 9 bullets into ones head and that player is taking no damage or next to no damage.

Nearly unplayable from a performance perspective. The performance issues make it so there is 1/10 games where the game feels close to normal, but the other games feel completely disconnected and constant stutter. Basically, unable to have any impact in the game because of the delay of response from input.

Ya know.. I've actually been enjoying my time in Eruption. Control was more miss than hit. I've enjoyed it enough to contemplate being PvP focused soon. It also has me looking forward to getting back into Gambit. For the most part, even the lopsided games were playing well. The players and myself may not have been playing well, but I've only said "wtf" and backed out on 1 match, but that was Control with 2 afk teammates and 1 v 4 ( at least ) in most engagements. I honestly tried, but watching my team get wiped as they stood in spawn spinning around wasn't on my "to do list" ... lol.

Its been grand though I've only managed to play a few games so far. Lag spikes here and there but that's more so because I'm stuck using mobile internet access atm.

Im on PC and experiencing that frame loss stutter so I cant notice lag. I just play how I can now and waiting if Bungie can fix this issue. -

The map weighting is pretty bad. Haven’t seen javelin-4, burnout, or endless vale at all, I think I’ve had dead cliffs once, but some of the less popular maps like dissonance and disjunction seem much more common.

Very mixed. Playing mainly as a solo and getting matched with lots of 2’s and 3’s with varying skill levels.
