If you quit right before a match ends during a loss to protect your PvP stats maybe you’re just not that good and your stats are inflated. I’m average at best but never quit like a coward, I play to win not to boost my KD; if that means making a sacrificial play for the better of the team I’ll do it. I play the objective and sometimes that means not having the spotlight. I play to have fun and to get better not to pretend to be something I’m not. Sometimes that means recognizing the opponent was better.
Haha same goes for cheaters! Fake glory is just that, FAKE.
Haha it’s pathetic; can’t wait for all the salt below.
Surely at-least a few will agree with me, you can’t get better if you don’t take a loss and learn from your mistakes.
And don’t give me that bull your that trying to queue up faster, or just blaming your teammates even you know that’s a cop-out.

2 RepliesI’ve never quit a match because I was loosing. I’ve quit matches because they were unplayable. Same results, completely different reason. You can’t learn not to lag.
-
4 RepliesI agree but "loosing" instead of the correct "losing" is my pet hate. It's lose / losing not loose / loosing
-
6 RepliesPeople that check your crucible report before you queue into a trials match just to leave before the match starts or harass your team in trials, sincerely quit the game and do something else with the time. If you think your team is the reason you lose, it's probably you.

Always hated how stats were seen as so important. Fictional numbers that hold no value or weight at all. I'm sorry you're not telling people irl that "yeah I got a 20.0 KD, I'm pretty good" no one will care or will just call you a loser. Just play the game, that's what I do I play just to play idc about winning or losing. You still get rewards either way. I do this in trials too if I ever play it, yeah so I'm probably dragging others down when I play like that but it's a game not real life. I remember I probably embarrassed this one guy in an IB match. He kept getting upset and even chewed out his team on text chat, my team. So I ignored it for now but after coming back from a major loss and even getting first place like 10 defeats above him I replied back saying "it's a video game, next time chill" then I left. People like that I'm sorry but they need help. I understand getting upset about losing but I only ever do if it's by people who are clearly cheating or the same 5 people 10 games in a row

1 ReplyAgreed. Quitters suck.
-
they are not quitters - they are shitterz
-
"I don't want them to screenshot my loss, so I left" - Loser mentality I agree. Don't play if you can't countenance the idea of losing.

You’ll find that people leave because they are not having fun actually -
Low road. Stat seekers are everywhere. They tend to group together with like minded to boost numbers faster. Many times one in the group seems to throw on a hack device to boost things further. Some have skills but those are a rare and more antisocial. High road. If you feel you are being farmed you are. Best approach is to play hide and seek. These groups love the choke points where everyone runs. They hate those that make them work for it. If they are bullet sponges hide and emote. Always remember it is a game. Play as a group until you can’t.
-
If the PvP match got loose you better catch it before the farmer finds out
-
That really hurt your feelings.

1 ReplyIt's pathetic ain't it? Basement dwellers are so insecure that a few video game numbers give them "worth"... Just be happy about one thing at least you won't have to worry about them breeding cuz they're pull out game is so good

3 RepliesBetter or not I play for the thrill of battle. That is what pvp is at least to me anyway. Winning & losing doesn't mean anything only the match in play. A lot of people focus way too much on kda. It means absolutely jack and unless these junkies in question are playing in an Esports team where real money is involved they gotta stop kidding themselves. I think at this point the newer generation of pvpers have grown distant from what the genre is. Like fight to win, talk some trash, bag here n there, taunt, and regardless of the outcome laugh it off and do it again. Wild as hell these brats are sitting here demanding they should have no penalty for screwing over the whole match. My god it's lunacy in the highest order.
-
Not gonna lie sometimes I leave because the team is too heavy and I would rather just play the next match than sit there and 1v3 every single round. I'm good but not that good.

13 RepliesEdited by Dredgen Jäger: 6/28/2026 5:21:30 AMSBMM has been an issue in D2 for years, maybe you’re being paired against or with people who’re out of your bracket. Now you have cheaters that run rampant so people’s patience is even more thin than it was before. Congrats, you’re good at a game that got shut down? I’ve never seen a more sad attempt at trying to be relevant, you basically just told everyone on this forum that you’re insecure. So uhh… Yeah, get well soon dude. Edit: You also have a .68 K/D with a 71 - 182 Win-Loss ratio in Trials of Osiris, who exactly are you trying to ego on?
-
“Fight forever, Guardian!!”
-
When I rarely PVP and the quitters be quitting.... I just emote and goof around. The sad part isnt even the quitters in my case. The sad part is the fact a full team goes sweaty bawls and still just blasts me away... like guys... you won, just hang out lol no reason to be sweats you dont get bonus rewards xD
-
I play just to have fun and release some stress. I couldn't care less about my stats.
-
I often make a sacrifice play for the betterment of fun. Does that count?

1 ReplyEdited by PandaPapa146: 6/27/2026 11:57:41 PMOP: Bump! ☑️ I get the occasional urge to quit a PvP match - not because of anything my teammates do, unless they constantly jump off the map and deliberately try and make us lose, but more to do with… SUS behaviour, eg, unbelievable accuracy whilst jumping / twisting mid air / sliding / jinking in all directions, with weapon fire rates that I know are not normal, whilst shooting through walls / rocks / objects, and seemingly - never missing a headshot, and their speed is at 78rpm whilst I seem to be at 33rpm…and even if I unload a Super or a full mag at virtually unmissable range - it has zero effect?! And I also get ohk out of my Super or even by a simple melee?! Yet their Supers take no damage, are active a lot more than our team’s, and they tear through us with ease! * And they also seem to have constant wall hacks and aimbots fully active, too! Most of the a/m I put down to P2P / lag / latency issues - most but not all…or is it something else?! I have a good tolerance threshold normally though sometimes, and especially of late, it’s getting really old and wearing very thin.🧐 I play PvP for grins and giggles…I’m not chasing gear or stats…though I am rather partial to Trials gear / guns. Each match I try my best, give as good as I get, come what may. As a 0.3% grinder, I know the drill… I’ve switched to the Left Trials Card now, just to get the new armour sets for HWT. Previously, I’d grind out the Right Card (Lighthouse) but hardly ever getting a streak of wins, made it a pointless exercise. Quitters? Leaving your rando teammates in the lurch is not a cool move…if it’s a carry you’re seeking - join or form a team and have at it! No excuses otherwise! Finally…the embers of this once fantastic game are all that now remains…the recent layoff of the whole Destiny employee base has set that in stone…so, most of the a/m is probably just noise…rip! 🤔 That is all. Play Fair! Play Nice! Don’t be a Quitter! 👈 Carry On 🤫 Ease Slings! 🖖👻 MTFBWY *post-edit 😁
