Cross Save Mistake
I tried linking my steam account to Destiny 2, but I discovered that I had a really old steam account I created 8 years ago with the same email as my new account and it linked the old account. I bought all the DLCs on my newer account, so I don't have access to any of them on cross save. I bought the DLCs for $30 during the sale that was going on, so even if I got a refund, I wouldn't be able to buy the DLCs again with that money since the sale is over.
I don't have much on my old steam account, I never used it and plan on deleting it anyway. I want to link my new account, but I would have to wait 90 days just to switch them out and I don't want to wait that long. Is there any way to fix this quickly?

Hey there. As of March 2025 it is no longer possible to unlink platform accounts from Bungie Accounts, so there is no way to remove the old Steam account. The 90 day thing is just for cross-save; even if you deactivate cross-save, you still can't unlink anything.
