I debated whether or not I should post this as a "Game Issue", but it's pretty bad and I figure this would probably be more likely to be looked over as that, so here we are. This counts as a repost though.
Basic summary is that 60-70 rep from Vanguard Ops starts to feel very lackluster when you reach Brave III and onwards. They're longer activities compared to Crucible Ops and Gambit Ops, so you end up-
No, better description: Vanguard Engram drought. That basically sums up how it is currently. I think I'm currently Heroic III with almost max (50) Vanguard Ciphers and 0 engrams to use them on.
I'd say the reputation gains for Zavala need a bump in some way, maybe even based on the difficulty of the activity (Master, Grandmaster, Ultimate, etc.). As far as I can tell, that currently isn't a thing.
I really hope this gets changed before things slow down.

1 ReplyI've been begging for them to do something about this too. The older sunset armours from Edge of Fate are barely more accessible than they were before this update, and now Ferropotent's been sunset too. It really sucks. At this point I wish they would just remove the engram cost for focusing older armour. It may not be as much of a "chase", but at least it wouldn't take us literal years to get full sets if we weren't around to farm them during EoF.

Edited by Racket UK: 6/25/2026 4:03:31 AMI'm getting 50 points per run arena ops so a score of 525 needs 11 runs, but score of 825 would be 17 runs for one engram and on master with matchmaking it's not even tier 5 gear, so can only get tier 5 from zavala ever 11 to 17 runs one piece, so sloooooowwwwwwwwwww.

Edited by viiTactiiCZz: 6/24/2026 11:02:32 PMSomeone asked DMG if rep gain was going to be addressed and he replied with:
Not right now. Team is looking into it, but this may be where it stands.
Someone else asked the Destiny2Team account if they were going to address it and they said
Team is looking into it. Cannot promise a fix.
Given yesterdays X post by Destiny2Team saying next week is the final bug patch and any future ones aren't confirmed (they specifically said 'we may have some upkeep patches in the future.'), there is a good chance it won't be getting addressed. If it does, it might just be giving a flat increase to the amount (ie 150 per strike instead of ~50-~70)
