When specifically loading into an activity with both Izanagi's Burden as well as a weapon with the Forge's Kin origin trait, the origin trait acts as if Izanagi's Burden isn't equipped and doesn't enhance the effects of the trait. Getting a kill grants a buff duration of 4 seconds and provides no damage boost.
If you then take off Izanagi's Burden, it reduces the effects of the origin trait to a point where the buffs are less than what should be the minimum. The buff only lasts about 2 or 3 seconds. If you re-equip the exotic or any other black armoury weapon in that slot it reverts to the base line buffs (4 second duration).
There are a lot of specific cases that can be tested here but the main thing is that Izanagi is causing the buff to go lower than it should be able to and it bugs it out for other weapons in the slot for the duration of the activity.
This is an issue exclusive to Izanagi's Burden as far as I know. I tested Jötunn also and it didn't have the same effect though I haven't tested Le Monarque and I also haven't tested a black armoury power weapon. The issue doesn't happen when using any other combination of black armoury weapons. The issue only happens if both Izanagi and the black armoury weapon are equipped when flying in. If one or the other isn't, then the bug doesn't happen. The problem persists through any combination of weapon swapping after the fact.
There are too many things for me to test so in short, to replicate the bug, just load into any activity with Izanagi and the ringing nail equipped (for example). getting a kill with the ringing nail will only give an origin trait buff of 4 seconds when it should be giving 6 seconds. If you take of Izanagi it will reduce the buff below 4 seconds. Then load back in but without Izanagi equipped and everything will work as normal.
