It's already a inconsistent mess of an encounter with the Hobgoblins spawning in consistently then not at all after the first damage phase.

When the defences subside towers 2 & 4 move to 1 & 3 for rebuff so the runner is free-ish to chase Hobgoblins. Dunno about the other two at the start of the encounter, haven't played it enough.

Edited by The-IIID-Emp1r3: 6/24/2026 2:02:59 AMYeah read it just now, that's a fumble, it makes sense that anyone tethered should get a buff refresh instead of the runner needing to run nonstop laps around the map to constantly tether everyone Like bruh this encounter was already absurdly hard enough just to get to a dps phase, they SHOULD of focused on fixing the fact that sometimes you can get a hob on top of enemies spawning AND the hydras (or the boss is there and you gotta deal with it but a damn hob is shooting at you while you're trying to do eyes), like dude that's TOO MUCH it needs toning down, hydras shouldn't spawn IF a hob is scheduled to spawn near at a specific relay

I couldn't agree more. You know it's bad when even streamers believed it was an intentional feature. Taking it away makes an already insufferable encounter more unbearable. Everyone I have talked to agrees this encounter is the worst. It makes perfect sense to buff everyone from mid, it's like saying all confluxes are connected to the middle. The runner was already busy enough

What do you expect that's what Bungie wants they want the game to be unbalanced they want everything to feel like Contest no blame streamers for that bs.. bungee created artificial difficulties power creeps power deltas less content less rewards that's what brought this game down in the first place
