On Crota's End Master it does not seem possible to get Crota to his damage phase, as even with 4 swords and tractor cannon, his shield cannot be removed. The Relic Sword attacks were optimal (Heavy, Super, Heavy, Heavy) and all hit with damage numbers. The damage on the post-wipe screen showed an inconsistent amount of damage done. A fireteam member experienced this in another run as well. Side note: the relic swords seem to be doing less damage than normal in the Bridge encounter as well
