I've been getting recurring Brocolli CTD errors when playing Destiny 2. I haven't played since the Final Shape Expansion, and reinstalled to check out the MoT update. Prior to that, I never received any Brocolli errors or CTDs. I average about half a strike before receiving a CTD, so the game is essentially unplayable.
GTX 1080ti 11GB
64GB ram
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU@4.2GHz
I was originally playing on the November 2025 driver, then updated to the May2026 Nvidia diver, and finally to the June 16th 2026 driver. None of these have resolved the issue.
I've lowered my graphics settings, disabled fullscreen optimizations, set D2 to run as administrator, and verified my steam installation file. I'm not receiving crashes in other graphically intense games such as Stellaris or Remnant 2.
Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated.

1 ReplyHi there, Thank you for reaching out to us. We understand you're encountering a persistent Broccoli error code. We're sorry to hear of this, as we can imagine how this may have caused concern. While we realize you have tried some extensive troubleshooting, by any chance, do the following steps help:
1. Enable "Game Mode" in Windows 11 or, if you already have "Game Mode" enabled, try disabling it. 2. If you use EVGA Precision for overclocking, you may want to disable that since it doesn't play well with Destiny 2. MSI Afterburner might be a good alternative to use. 3. In your Settings, cap your framerate to keep GPU usage below 90% to see if this helps. 4. If you have an NVIDIA graphics cards, see if the card stabilizes using NVIDIA's temporary debug mode. 5. Some players have reported that a mild underclock for GPU clock of around -100MHz and GPU memory around -50MHzz may help with this issue.
