The old problem I had a long time ago with vendor reputation rewards is back. Obviously, to get engrams for focusing, you need to rank up. But that is definitely not going well with Zavala. "But what is the problem with it," you might be wondering. ...At Brave III for Vanguard, you need 600 reputation for a rank up. At the end of almost any Vanguard Ops activity, you only get around 50-70 rep usually. And not only that, but Vanguard Ops activities are usually much longer in comparison to other Ops activities. You're not ranking up that much with Zavala at all while with the other vendors, you're ranking up at almost double the speed. Gambit straight-up dumps loot on top of you after matches, though its rank-up speed still doesn't compare to Shaxx's Crucible. "But seriously, where is the real problem," you're probably still wondering. Vendor-exclusive weapons. That's the problem. It's really bad for Zavala. You're not going to effectively be able to farm for the vendor-exclusive loot at all. Not in a realistic, have-a-job lifecycle. And let's say you do pull an exclusive weapon from a vendor and out of all of the possible traits it could've gotten you, it chose the community's worst with a handling masterwork that you don't want. That feels bad. This also applies to older tiered armor that you can get from Zavala, Shaxx and Saint-14 as well. But just really bad on Zavala. I think Vanguard Ops rep gains need to be increased if you're playing on higher difficulties. I play on Ultimate regularly and 66 rep from a Pinnacle Ops completion just makes me sigh.
