PLATFORM: Steam / Microsoft Store / Epic Game Store
SYSTEM INFO: PC (details irrelevant to bug)
ISSUE: When the exotic fusion rifle Tessellation is equipped, aiming down sights superimposes a fuzzy/soft screen blur effect over the entire FoV. This visual obstruction only persists while actively aiming down sights with Tessellation; returning to hipfire mode will remove the obstruction, and other weapons are not affected while Tessellation is equipped.
REPRO STEPS: Equip Tessellation, hipfire aim at anything you can see clearly, activate ADS mode while aiming, inspect the thing you could see clearly before and notice how it appears out-of-focus.
ACTUAL RESULT: A fuzzy/soft/out-of-focus texture is applied across the whole screen while the weapon is scoped-in.
EXPECTED RESULT: The weapon can scope-in without experiencing a visual obstruction of the field of view.
LINKS: https://imgur.com/a/F90DidR First picture shows when ADS second picture shows hipfire. While the effect is difficult to notice in a screenshot, when reproducing this bug in-game the out-of-focus effect is considerably more noticeable.
NOTES: Effect occurs regardless of grenade element, equipped subclass, wielded character class, and current status of the Property: Irreducible buff. This bug has been present in Destiny 2 since the release of The Final Shape and has never been addressed or acknowledged despite other QoL changes to the weapon in that time.
