PS4: Crashing every time I launch an activity
System is a PS4, and now a very old one, so I can't rule out hardware being a factor.
Had no crashing/system issues prior to Monument of Triumph.
Since today's update, almost every time I try to launch an activity my game instantly crashes as soon as I hit the launch button. The only activities I was able to load into a few times were patrol zones, but even that was highly inconsistent and would hit a crash randomly at some point while patrolling. I was able to load into the Tower, though.
I know it isn't the PS4 overheating because the launch triggering the crash is extremely consistent and can happen almost immediately after I boot up the game at all. Restarting my PS4 and uninstalling and redownloading D2 didn't seem to have any effect on the crashing behavior.
EDIT: Problem was temporarily resolved by clearing my console's cache. My game started crashing again after some amount of play time.

Hello there, Thanks for the report. This does line up with a known PS4 crash issue we have been seeing, especially with players crashing while loading into the game or into activities after recent updates. We have also seen PlayStation crashes caused by certain equipped armor pieces or class items, including cases where loading into activities or loading near other players could trigger the crash. Since reinstalling did not help, this may be closer to that kind of issue than a bad install or overheating problem. If this occurs again, please share: the exact PlayStation error code, if one appears which character this is happening on whether the character has any newly equipped armor ornaments or class items whether the crash still happens if you remove any recently equipped gear through the Companion app or DIM If you are able to change gear outside the game, testing that would be especially helpful here.
