I’m on PS5, and I find that when I join most groups through the in-game fireteam finder, all the little speaker icons are X-ed out and I can neither chat nor hear anybody. The odd thing is, is that occasionally I can hear and chat with people. It seems to be a case-by-case thing—as in, either I can chat with them or I can’t, and that doesn’t change, even if I leave the fireteam and come back or even restart the game entirely. Some help would be greatly appreciated!
