Soul Siphon Error Code OTTER Bug in PvP (youtube video link included)
Trying to do my part and help out with bug fixes where I can before the game is fully done updating.

So, as they said in their post, when you die a moment after landing Soul Siphon on an opponent in PvP, there is a high chance of getting error code OTTER and the timing isn't very strict either. That's it. There doesn't seem to be any other outside factors, so this bug could happen a lot and that's a problem. The video shows my Soul Siphon killing my target before I die, so with replicating the issue, if the bug doesn't happen when using Soul Siphon on a target that doesn't get killed by it, try and get it to kill them. I also show that I'm using Felwinter's Helm and that Devour was active as well in case other factors do need to be looked at. And also, this is Mayhem.
My current theory is that there is some sort of communication issue going on between the original target player of Soul Siphon and the user after the user gets killed. I don't know what exactly it could be though. It could be lingering data after Soul Siphon is fully used that's still on the target or the user. Let's say that when a player dies and they respawn, they are still the same entity with the same entity ID. Don't know if that's true or not here, but maybe some target data somewhere isn't getting cleared and the game doesn't know what to do with it, probably on the client side since the error code appears to be only affecting the user. Can't rule out the VFX link between the user and the target either. But if I'm right about the entity ID thing, maybe even the respawn time in Mayhem could be a factor if it is targeting data that isn't clearing up fast enough.
Another note is that it's very hard to see if this is also an issue in PvE as you're usually too tanky to die during Soul Siphon there, so that can't be ruled out either.
I've said a lot that my computer was having issues keeping me from recording footage from games as trying to use my recording software would just cause my computer to freak out. That was true, but it conveniently started working again out of nowhere. Awfully late for that, but at least it's working.
