I've been trying to do a last send off with the lads but our 3 stack is complete cus i've been getting battleye update failed(1 35) since monument of triumph. I've been troubleshooting for hours doing the following things:
Disabled Windows Defender real-time protection
Added the following folders to Windows Defender exclusions: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye and D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Destiny 2
Changed DNS to Google's 8.8.4.4 / 8.8.8.8
Ran Steam as Administrator
Deleted the BattlEye folder inside the Destiny 2 game directory, then verified game file integrity via Steam
Ran Install_BattlEye.bat as Administrator from the Destiny 2 BattlEye directory
Stopped and deleted the BattlEye service via sc stop BEService and sc delete BEService in CMD as Administrator
Took ownership of C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye via takeown and icacls commands, deleted BEDaisy.sys after unregistering it with sc delete BEDaisy, then deleted the entire folder
Checked Windows Firewall outbound rules — no BattlEye related entries found, nothing blocked
Checked Core Isolation settings — Memory Integrity and Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection were both already OFF
Pinged cdn.battleye.com — successful, 0% packet loss, 5ms average response time, confirming connectivity to BattlEye servers is not the issue
Ran sfc /scannow — returned no integrity violations
Changing BELauncher.ini did nothing
I'm not on running on insider builds
I'm lost as to what could be the issue at this point my friend has experienced nothing like me so we're really unsure.
Has anyone else been experiencing this issue recently?

1 ReplyGemini gave me the following suggestion which I used for myself and it worked. If possible at all would you be willing to try this: The Mobile Hotspot Trick (The Ultimate Bypass) If changing your DNS doesn't work, your router’s internal hardware firewall or your ISP's regional network is dropping the file packets entirely. We can bypass your router completely to let the file download. 1. Disconnect your PC from your home Wi-Fi/Ethernet. 2. Turn on the Mobile Hotspot on your smartphone. 3. Connect your PC to your phone’s hotspot. 4. Open Steam and launch Destiny 2. Why this works: The initial BattlEye patch is tiny (usually less than 5MB). Launching via cellular data routes your connection through an entirely different network. Once the game successfully patches and launches one single time, you can close the game, disconnect from your hotspot, jump back on your home internet, and it will work fine from then on because the file is already safely on your PC.
