Console PLATFORM: Xbox Series X ISSUE: Constant crashing to home screen and occasionally forced restarting console. REPRO STEPS: logging on and playing literally any activity at all but happens more often while in multi-player and/or doing Edge of Fate and Renegades content ACTUAL RESULT: sudden crash to home screen or forced restart of console EXPECTED RESULT: That I could play without crashing at all. LINKS: none. NOTES: On Xbox Series X. Latest hardware update. Returned to game after June 9 update. Bought the new Collection pack to get caught up. On June 9 I knew there would be server instability, but even today, June 12th, I'm still crashing to home screen constantly. My husband and friends are playing fine, no issues. Sometimes it even restarts my console which is a little alarming. I have found it nearly impossible to complete anything except a few solo ops. Most of the crashes have happened while in multi-player and while doing Edge of Fate and Renegades content. There have been several things I have tried. Hard reset Xbox. Cleared cache. Deleted the Save data from my console. Uninstalled entire game and reinstalled entire game. Router: changed ports, Mac address, reset router, all the usual xbox forum advice for crashing games. Internet: We have fiber optic internet. Excellent speeds. Latency is extremely low. NAT type: open. Etc. Even tried an obscure bit of advice on Facebook that said to lower SFX volume to 4. (I'm desperate, obviously.) I know I only paid $25 for the new collection, so it's no huge financial loss, but I really wanted to enjoy this one last ride in D2. If anyone knows how to fix this issue, please let me know.
