My main account and attached to bungie account is Xbox. I recently bought Destiny 2 dlc on Steam to play on PC. I go to authenticate Steam for cross play and it is recognized and looks good. The problem is I must have tied or tried to tie my Epic account. I can log into my Epic account and show it is linked to Destiny, but when I try to authenticate through Bungie it will first throw a "The error code: ErrorCannotAuthorize" error, then will allow me to confirm account only to return to said error. I cannot authenticate and continue with Steam unless I can do something about Epic. I can on Bungie sign in with Epic account, it will ask to create or link an account and attempting to link my Xbox (main/OG) account I get a "These accounts cannot be linked, The same platform has already been linked to this account." error and then it logs me into my Bungie account anyway. I don't need the Epic account, so unlinking or deleting the account isn't an issue. I simply need to link my Steam with my Xbox account on Bungie so I can play my legacy Xbox characters/account on Steam. This is my second attempt at a solution as the original post seems to be considered solved when nothing was answered/done. I would greatly appreciate help and hopefully a solution to this. Thank you.
