Young Ahamkara's Spines is bugged in what I believe to be 2 ways. The grenade ability generation on ability hits in PVP is incredibly low. At 100+ grenade stat (+125% grenade ability recharge rate), an ability hit is refunding ~6.25% of a tripmine grenade charge. I tested this by timing the cooldown with and without an ability hit mixed in on default private pvp match settings. This scales with grenade stat, so at lower stats, the ability recharge on hit is not physically viewable it is so pitifully low. Additionally, the "double hit" bug previously addressed is not fixed. Tripmine grenades "double hit" regardless of if they directly hit a target, resulting in double grenade ability refunding. In PVE this results in much more energy than likely intended, while in pvp the gains are still negligible.
The previous nerfs to the functionality of the YAS enhanced tripmine grenade alongside the pitiful ability refund benefits have left this exotic in such an ineffective state in pvp it is arguably the worst in the game between all classes after the recent update. While addressing the bugged state of the exotics function might be difficult and time consuming, increasing the ability refund on hit in pvp specifically could return this classic exotic to a useable state. The recharge rate is so low, It leads me to believe it is unintentional.
