d2 dlc help
i play destiny 2 on my pc using the xbox app, but since the dlcs are on sale in steam i bought them and want to switch over to steam. i am currently in the process of crosslinking my accounts, but since i have not started playing on steam i dont have any characters on there so i am using my characters from xbox. since i am buying the dlcs on steam and will be playing on steam it means i will have access to the dlcs right? im sorry if this is a bad question i just want to make sure

If you intend to play on Steam then you'd need to buy the DLCs on Steam to have access to them there. Please note that unlike DLCs, reward passes are game add-ons that are instantly applied to whichever characters you sign in with on the account you make the purchase from. They go with those characters wherever they are. It's best to activate your Cross Save first before buying or at least avoid logging into the game on Steam until after activating Cross Save.
