After today's june 10th maintenance and update I haven't been able to log in without the use of a vpn. I am constantly stuck on the sign in page and I either get servers are down or centipede errors, I have followed extensively every single networking fix suggested but still no luck, even verified files just in case but still nothing. Also the NAT type I have has been changed to strict even though I never had such problems in the past.

Centipede means the connection to Destiny services is being lost, and the fact that the game only gets past login when using a VPN strongly suggests the normal route to Bungie’s servers is the problem rather than the game files themselves. The Strict NAT change matters too. Bungie’s networking guidance notes that Strict NAT can require a NAT relay for connections that would normally work under Open NAT, so seeing that change at the same time as the login loop fits with a networking or routing issue instead of a corrupted install. Given that the issue started right after the June 10 maintenance and a VPN changes the outcome immediately, this looks consistent with a post-update ISP or routing problem affecting access to Destiny services, not a normal client-side crash or account issue. We are currently looking into these issues.
