weasel error 1 minute after log in

I keep getting the weasel error code on pc, its not a general networking error because Ive tried using different wifis, Ive used an ethernet connection, a VPN, Ive deleted temp files on my pc, I even tried playing the game on epic games instead of steam. No matter what I do it always gives me the weasel error within a minute of clicking my character. I really need help, its not just a general error that I can troubleshoot within the help.bungie.net site. I paid for the entire collection of expansions just to be left unable to use it because the DLC doesnt cross platform. Please help me

  • Hello there, Thank you for reaching out. Since you’ve already tested across different Wi-Fi networks, Ethernet, a VPN, and even both Steam and Epic, this does not sound like standard local troubleshooting anymore. The fact that the error happens consistently within about a minute of selecting a character suggests the issue may be tied to the connection/session state once the character loads, rather than the initial game launch or your general internet connection. At this point, please continue to monitor the issue and make sure to report it in the Help forum with any new patterns you notice, especially whether it affects all characters, whether it happens in orbit every time, and whether anything changes after a full logout/restart cycle. If this is part of a broader issue, those details help us identify it more quickly. The WEASEL and CENTIPEDE error codes are messages that usually indicate that you are experiencing a general networking issue. Please follow our Network Troubleshooting Guide to work through possible solutions to your issue. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049496531-Network-Troubleshooting-Guide We strongly recommend switching from WiFi to a wired connection, at least temporarily. This is an important first troubleshooting step to rule out WiFi signal strength/stability as a possible culprit.
