If you are getting Error 250 saying you recently changed your Bungie Name, then the system is currently treating your account as being on a name change wait/cooldown, even if a name change token still appears on the account. The Bungie Name flow uses a token to allow the change, but there is also a throttle on name change attempts, and players are only supposed to be able to use the change when the system shows it as available and accepts the save. There was also a known issue where Bungie Names could not be changed and it was being investigated, so this may not be something you can fix yourself if the error keeps happening on both the website and app.
