I somewhat agree and disagree. The only thing I disagree with in the nerfs is the debut of jolt affecting the Ionic sentry. Arc soul needed to be toned back, but I don't get why Sentry is catching a stray too. I barely use it and when I do I don't think it's a highly potent ability compared to Arc soul

5 RepliesDid you actually have to move and it made you mad? All you Warlocks do is just stand there. lol

Haven't tested everything on my warlock yet but contaverse hold nades feel just as good as before atleast

Agree revert

1 ReplyIf you're referring to the weak void grenade spam chunk damage strategy it indeed needed to be nerfed. No more cheesing. I despise cheesing in any fashion in games.
-
1 ReplyThe jolt nerf makes no sense at all. The jolt isn't even that strong. I very rarely see any Arc Warlocks out there.
-
4 RepliesI barely noticed a difference. Everything still died super quick and choose the right artifact, I was also still able to keep my prahxic blade ammo economy at infinite. Only now, I'm able to get tangled nests pretty consistently too. There is a little downtime when you're short of ads but prismstic getaway with praic blade is still meta

Meanwhile the other classes are just chilling
Warlocks will remain the strongest PvE class by far. Claiming the other classes didn’t get nerfs to their unbalanced abilities too is nonsense.
Grapple Against boss combatants, reduced max Grapple Melee damage bonus granted by grenade stat by 50%. Against boss combatants, damage bonus granted by Grenade stat and Melee stat is now additive instead of multiplicative.

Mobius Quiver (Super) Reduced maximum Moebius Quiver buff to Crossbow weapons by 50%.

Lucky Pants Increased Eriana's Vow's maximum damage bonus to 4.5x. Decreased Uncivil Discourse's maximum damage bonus to 2.5x. Reduced Lucky Pants bonus damage versus bosses by 33%.
1 ReplyThe nerfs were 90% extremely unimpactful. the only one that was a bit too far was the Nothing manacles one. Just removing the infinite chaining was enough.

Jolt every 4s is fine... the build was fine before jolt was even added. Sure, it helps spread some damage to other low tier enemies, it will still do that just not as often. Jolts damage is not nearly what it was when it was first introduced. Void grenade builds needed to be reduced a bit. Maybe too far with Nothing Manacles, but they will still be useful, just not clear entire rooms with one grenade. If we didnt have seekers on top of seekers this season from the artifact, maybe it wouldnt have caught that extra hit... but, that artifact is always going to be available to get the extra seekers on weakened kills anyway. Im a Warlock main, Voidwalker unless I run one of 2 prismatic builds. From the moment they buffed the scatter grenade, I was counting the days until it was going to get nerfed again. Manacles extending the range of the seekers, just added to it since you didnt even need decent placement of the grenade to start a chain reaction. Just throw in the general direction of the enemy. A lot of Hunter builds have been completely GUTTED, so I dont know what you are on about thinking that Warlock were the only ones nerfed. I dont even know what build hunters are going to even use now, can they still endgame or speedrun at all? They have the movement, but all of the meta options are gone. Grapple melee, lucky pants...
-
Because you know those builds weren't severely auto play over tuned, Everyone seen these nerfs coming just like Hunter grapple melee and lucky pants getting nerfed this shouldn't be a shock to anyone..
-
Hunter got backhanded what are you talking about. Titans I agree with. They always get the fun stuff with little nerfs.

1 ReplyWe are indeed not chilling
-
Thing is with access to several artifacts the field is opening up drastically for lots of builds... Honestly the nerfs across the board are weak compared to the buffet of combos we're going to get making the Nerfs a moot point I think it's gonna be a wild few weeks of people trying new things new meta guaranteed

Just run hunter dude. I am

1 ReplyEdited by Ominous Gaze: 6/7/2026 9:23:17 PMThat takes too much brain power. If bungie undid the nerf, then they would have to balance the other subclasses around the best one, which is arch for pve and void for PvP. of course they’re going to do the easier thing and nerf the 1 viable subclass for each activity so they’re indistinguishable from the others and just as useless.

8 Replies"Meanwhile the other classes are just chilling" Lol, did you even read the patch notes? There were pages of nerfs to all sorts of things. Plus, you havent even played the update yet and are already complaining

Void nade builds “fixed” This community man lol
-
Bro, I soloed Equilibrium using only warlock grenades and controverse holds. They needed to be tuned a little bit.

4 sec timer on jolt now Void nade builds getting nerfed? Meanwhile the other classes are just chilling
No we are not chilling.... We got nerfs too.... Uncool, but hey... someone always gets shafted
-
Complaining and not realizing it benefits warlocks is unreal..... if jolt kills the target and not your buddy it doesnt proc devour, this fixes that issue. Its also a negligible icd on it. Stop crying the game will still play for you lol.
-
Will have to see how it plays out. Mainly they just fixed what is broken. Jolt is a mixed bag per “broken”…. But the synergy with jolting feedback pretty much negates the nerf. What must be remembered is that we are build crafting with 7 artifacts of which are covering all subclasses. Ie… nerfs have all been negated, outside broken builds, through an artifact.
