It doesn't do anything significant enough to take an aspect slot. For example the Titan shield throw gives overshield for each enemy hit and the new Hunter one does this plus melee energy. So why does the warlock with only one Melee option get their new should be melee turned to an aspect? It doesn't do enough to be one.
I know It's too early to decide, but based off the description it ain't going to be worth replacing any of the current three. It should have just been a new melee option.

It does something to the flying orb but idk if it’s worth the hassle. I personally wont bother with it. Warlocks have never been great in the melee department. Grenades is where warlocks shine best.

Agree the aspect will never see the light of the day in any build it should have been a melee option

2 RepliesI donno why Bungie hates warlocks so much lol. We always get this treatment. And most of our abilities are always multi-step activations. And while I’m here, looks like we will still be the only class without a OHK ability… forever now.

I am also not a fan of any aspect that is just a “better melee”. I think lightning surge, consecration, etc should all just be melees, even if they need to be slightly tuned down to justify it. Aspects should follow the rule that they are background effects that dictate how you use/cycle through all your abilities and guns. That being said, besides bug fixes they confirmed this is the last update so there is LITERALLY no point in sharing our opinions lol
