Destiny was... Is... The one constant thing in my life
Home changed...
Work changed...
Life chewed me up...
But I had destiny...
And my friends who for a long time played destiny together and kept me out of trouble and stabilized my life for a long time... But now many of my friends have drifted started family's... you know life things... getting older...
So destiny remained...
And it's genuinely depressing...
And I won't give up on a future where destiny continues to be a valuable part of my life...
I'm good by the way...
It's just not processing well...
So if at all possible...
Please don't take away one of the few things I have...
I will fight beyond the end...
Up to the very last moment...
For my...for our destiny...
From dawn to dusk...
A guardian...

It will be kinda nice to play Destiny 2 just to play Destiny 2 without the fear or pressure of missing out. It does suck that it's ending but the end of D1 was a pretty great time. Plus SRL and a bunch of content to replay, looking forward to it all.
Destiny was... Is... The one constant thing in my life Home changed... Work changed...
Destiny changed... And lost thousands of players. Don't get me wrong — I’m not making light of your post. A lot of us are hurting right now. But for most players, all we ever wanted was the same core Destiny experience with fresh content delivered seasonally. Destiny has been changing for years, but for many of us it truly died last July with Edge of Fate, when sweeping changes that nobody asked for were forced onto the game. Instead of using this massive content drop as an apology, a way to rebuild trust and prove they still care about the playerbase, they used it as the soundtrack to the funeral. On June 9th, let’s show them they made a huge mistake.

1 ReplyYou'll find something else. I was stuck on Titanfall, Didn't think it got any better than that, until Destiny came out. Then when Titanfall 2 came out, I took a break from Destiny for a while, then came back. It sucks that the 2 FPS games, with the best movement and gunplay, are both gonna be gone. My son has tried getting me into CoD, Rainbow, Gears, and a few others, but the movement in those games just feels so restricted. So I'll just keep on looking.

This game totally is a third space, especially when it’s at its best. That’s a good read.

I'll be here as long as I can. You're always welcome with my group. New friends. New adventures. New friends revisiting old adventures. It's all good.

10 RepliesWell the servers are going to be up for like 10 more years, so you don't have anything to worry about any time soon.

A lot of bumps.

Something will come. D3? Maybe Game based in the destiny universe, definitely! The Mob controls the senate

1 ReplyI hear you. Many of us aren’t going away. It’s rough, but I’ll be here as long as the servers are. Hit me up if ever you need someone on your fireteam. Destiny will be here as long as we are. We make our own fate. Ever onward, Folawn#7905

Me and a friend of mine have a bet on who will be the last one standing when the day comes they shut off the servers. (Which hopefully will be a few YEARS from now).
