D3, Let's go!
Dear Gamers Around the World,
June 9th is just around the corner and Bungie is also offering free to play for Marathon. Remember we want D3 more than Marathon. No harm in supporting both games. However, deep down, we know all of us prefer Destiny 3?! Please support and relate this message in different languages around the world.

Maybe if they stop trying to make the mmo arpg that the pc players are demanding. That billion dollar budget doesn’t exist.

What might be achievable is a new single player game set in the Destiny universe or Destiny infinity being reconsidered, which was pitched as a D2 soft reboot before Sony rejected it. Personally, I'd be more interested in a Destiny single player game. Development costs would be a fraction of D3. Ghost of Yotei's budget for example, was $60 million and it generated $300 million and that was just on the playstation platform.

2 RepliesI don't see the problem in just letting this studio breathe for a while. The pacing for the developers and the fanbase alike was getting unsustainable. There's so much in destiny to do that it should take normal players quite a while to complete. The best we can do is just occupy destiny and introduce others to it in it's now static state and we can Pace as we want instead of playing seasonal catch up constantly. Sony's smartest move is to take the time to Let things play out and let the community sort if it's viable enough to justify a destiny 3 in the first place. The bottom line was that destiny just isn't paying the bills like it was and something had to give. They stretched themselves too thin and had no contingency plan if anything went wrong. All that bad press also just exacerbated other underlying problems Like the endless monetizing and exploitation of the fanbase in general. It may not be a popular opinion but I am actually glad for once that we can slow down and enjoy the game in a reasonable manner Instead of the end list hamster wheel rat race indefinitely. This current format is just tired and burned out.

5 RepliesSony would never green light a D3. Just look at their latest State of Play. Aside from Marathon, there were little to no shooters. Unless you count Ill or Silent Hill, but those are survival horror games. Fast pace combat isn't going to be the focal point.
