Please Preserve Destiny 1 — Don’t Remake It Into Something Else

Destiny 1 is more than just an old game to me. I still remember playing that first mission in the Cosmodrome, waking up with Ghost, running through the dark while the Fallen were hunting me, and feeling genuinely scared because everything was new and unknown. Then I finally found that first rifle, and suddenly I felt like I could defend myself. That moment started an adventure that became a huge part of my childhood. What made Destiny special was not just the missions, raids, weapons, or loot. It was the people. I formed bonds with players years ago that I still know today, and even now, after all this time, I am still meeting new people and having real moments with complete strangers in this tight-knit community. That is rare in modern gaming. Destiny 1 has survived because the people who love it have kept it alive, and I want to see that preserved not just for longtime players like me, but for the next generation of gamers who deserve to experience that same mystery, struggle, teamwork, and sense of wonder. I know this may be speaking into the void, and maybe most people have moved on, but this game still means something to me. Destiny 1 was part of my childhood, and somehow, even after all these years, it is still helping me meet people and make memories. I just hope this reaches someone who understands that preserving Destiny 1 is not only about keeping old content alive. It is about protecting a community and a feeling that modern games rarely create anymore. Thank you for reading.
