Healing Can Become a Bottleneck While White Consumables Go Unused
One thing I'd like to see is some kind of map objective that gives white consumables a purpose later in the game.
Right now, once you get established, white health and shield kits become something you mostly ignore because you can't extract with them and they don't really have any long-term value. At the same time, consumables can still end up being a bottleneck, especially if you're using a lot of them every raid.
Instead of letting us directly extract with white consumables, it could be interesting to have a machine or objective somewhere on the map that upgrades the white consumables you're currently carrying into a smaller number of green ones. Maybe it only spawns occasionally, maybe it has limited uses, or maybe it becomes visible to everyone once it's activated.
I think that would make white consumables worth picking up without flooding the economy with heals, and it would create another objective for players to fight over besides just loot rooms and bosses.
As it stands, a lot of white consumables stop being exciting pretty quickly, and I think a system like this could keep them relevant throughout the game.
