Masters of the Universe 2026 review
I went to see the long awaited masters of the universe movie today here’s my positives and negatives about the movie
The Positives.
Nicholas Galitzine ,Alison Brie,Camilla Mendez and sir Idris Elba along with Morena Baccarin All gave superb performances and the stellar soundtrack by Brian May rocked and so did the special effects.
The Negatives.
Jarred Leto gave an lackluster performance as Skeletor he failed at every hurdle ,Mark Hammil should have been cast the film was over saturated by nostalgia and too many characters of heroes and villains stuffed into an 2hrs movie .
Final Thoughts.
Even all the things that I highlighted the film is best watched on streaming or for free with various cinema membership cards and shouldn’t ruin your experience reviews vary from person to person

As someone who isn't old enough to feel the nostalgia, I view it as a silly action movie. Don't get me wrong, I love movies like inception or interstellar, but if you want a turn your brain off movie then I would recommend masters of the universe.

I've talked to someone who's seen it too. And they said, if you're not a He Man fan, you'll probably like it. If you are, you'll probably hate it... because they didn't respect the source material and tried to make it too serious. Citing Leto in particular... who tried to do his own thing again, like the joker. Skeletor was always a fumbling mastermind. Proxy for the real villain... Mumrah sp? Leto tried to make Skeletor serious... and they said it didn't work. Took them completely out of it. However, if you know nothing about Masters of the Universe... a decent movie. I'm going to see it.
