Is there any truth that Shawn, the guy in the Cosmodrome, may be the illegitimate child of Zevdala and Ikona. If this is true, it would go a long way to explaining many things about past decisions by leadership. I've always wondered why Zevdala continues to overlook Ikona's poor decisions. However, keeping her around and in leadership makes sense if he is doing so to protect his son. With both of them in leadership, no one will question why Shawn has been posted to an assignment on a planet where nothing is going on. With the two of them in charge they can both ensure that he stays somewhere safe and removed from any fighting. I can't help but wonder if Shawn knows who his parents are. I'm guessing he must suspect something, being that he is a guardian in his prime and he has been protected from all recent major battles. At the end of the day, maybe he understands that he has to overlook Ikona's deficiencies in order to save his son.
