Out of all the characters that have been introduced into D2 the one I miss the most is Asher Mir. That crazy, cantankerous Uncle Rick Before Uncle Rick Was Cool mad scientist was the smartest person on the comms...and he knew it. It's not enough to know his consciousness survived the Vex conversion. It's not enough to know he helped us to get Vexcaliber. Just once I would love to HEAR a final message from him in Destiny 2. He may have been a curmudgeon but wouldn't you if you had been fighting Vex infection all day? He cared. In his own way. RIP Asher Mir, you cranky nutjob.
