D2 Monument of Triumph - Proton/Steam Deck Compatibility

With the final update in June approaching, is there any way that Bungie could enable Battleye support with Proton? From what I can gather, Battleye was not originally compatible with Linux/Proton, hence the no-tolerance rule. Considering what has changed within the PC gaming landscape since then, is it possible that the gates would be opened to Deck users?

 • Hello there, Bungie has made no mention of reversing their Windows only stance for operating systems. You can try a cloud service such as GeForce Now, if that helps. For now, Destiny 2 does not run on Linux and any attempts to make it run can result in a game ban.
Destiny 2 is not supported for play on the Steam Deck or on any system utilizing Steam Play's Proton unless Windows is installed and running. Players who attempt to launch Destiny 2 on the Steam Deck through SteamOS or Proton will be unable to enter the game and will be returned to their game library after a short time. Players who are not accessing Destiny 2 through Windows and attempt to bypass the SteamOS/Proton incompatibility will be met with a game ban.
https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049024592-Destiny-2-Steam-Guide
