So much going on…many nerfs and some tweaks…more junk for an already bursting-at-the-seams Vault, it begs the question… Why bother? 🤔 Sure, the build crafters will enjoy it all…but for a vanilla low-fruit Patrol Wallah - like this old tortoise, it’s way too much, and it’s beyond too late…🙄 However long D2 remains, BD farming and maybe completing unfinished Seals / Triumphs / Quests are where I envisioned my continued existence within D2…it still stands! All of the blurb about micro-adjustments to weapons and gear are about as interesting as yesterday’s newspaper. Not in the slightest! June 9 - all I can see is <Contacting Destiny’s Servers> and another flood of stuff to overwhelm one’s storage facilities, which are already at bursting point?! A better solution imho would have been to unlock all floodgates so players could obtain every weapon / armour in the game…kit out the best ones to suit, and completely sunset the vault in its entirety! Whatever weapons / armour set contained in your loadout - that’s it, there is no more…until they turn the lights out! 🥳 Yes, one can swap an item from Collections…to enjoy other weapons / armour sets, but there’s no storage space available. What you can carry in your loadout is what you get! That makes absolute sense to me! And imagine how much game energy could be saved by sunsetting the vaults of all players?! Imagine the fun to try out all of those hard- or impossible to get guns / armour - for the greater majority of Casual players who don’t do raids or dungeons!? We know now that D2 is on maintenance mode going forward…keeping it simple, and interesting, just makes a lot of sense - to me! 👈 That said…lots of warm fuzzies for the worker bees…I hope things work out for you all! 🫠 That is all.
