I've been trying to link my Steam account to my Xbox account on bungie.net for Destiny 2 cross-save, but nothing I do works. The cross-save menu shows an infinite loading screen, and the data for my Steam account does not match my Xbox account. I've tried doing this on various browsers, in incognito, on different devices, different wifi networks, and even in different locations, but nothing has worked. Any help would be appreciated. I do not know what to do; I no longer play on or have an Xbox and wish to play on PC, but can't until this cross-save issue is fixed (I would prefer not to start fresh on PC as opposed to still using my characters from the past few years).

1 ReplyHello there, Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble using the Cross-Save feature. Can you try logging into each character on both of the platforms you are trying to authenticate? As you are using a PC, to authenticate your Xbox account characters, you can download a version of the game from the Microsoft Store (the game is free to download and play). This version should allow you to access your Xbox characters. I've included a link to the download page if needed. Once the game has been installed, log in using each character. You may be shown a cinematic and thrown into a mission. You can exit out to Orbit using your ghost as soon as you've loaded in the mission. Please do this for all characters on both platforms and try setting up the Cross Save once again. I've lastly included a link to our Cross Save Guide for additional help with using the feature in case it's needed.
