Do what I did. Work FIFO, do the long swings (i did 3:1), save basically everything. Since you're only back for a week no point renting so couch surf on your week off. You'll have a house in a year

Time will move whether you like it or not. Cherish the moment and cut off what needs to be severed.

Congrats ! When you show up at work, do it for you. Not for your boss, or the company or the promise of future rewards. Stay curious, and keep on learning. Experience is not a number of years, if you don’t do anything to expand your horizon and challenge your comfort zone, your world will contract and get smaller. And yes money safety net is great, but what’s even better is having money working for you. Invest and plan. It sucks that your friend are already driving an Audi and travelling twice a year, when you’re driving a used Toyota, but wait until they hit 40 and realize they can’t lift their foot of the gas without being eaten by credit card bill, mortgage and car payments.

Congratulations! It's an exciting and scary step! Spend your money thoughtfully. Save for the future, but also spend it on things you want to do. Have fun, explore things that you've never done or places you've never been.

Save your money... Always over estimate what you spend... always underestimate what you make... Set aside a savings you can access but easily forget about and exclude from any budget... If it's temporary it's not worth it. Pack light and don't accumulate unnecessary things.... Until you found a permanent place to call home.... But always be prepared to move as nothing's permanent and something can always happen... And make sure you take care of your health stay active as the consequences of being lazy will destroy you faster than anything else.... But maintain your body and your assets there's no reason to replace something that isn't broken and if you don't have to spend money on replacing things... you're saving money... For emergencies... For health shenanigans... To keep what you have and replace it breaks... Have a safety net... Spend money on exclusively surviving until you have three months plus in bills saved up in the bank just in case something happens to your job or any other extreme scenario... Keep in mind this should exclude your savings account... Do not trust credit cards or bill pay scams do what you must to boost your credit but otherwise do not accrue debt.... A true wise man owes no one anything but understands the value of charity.... Think and consider your options first and you'll never be broke

Cherish time the most of all things no matter what happens Bud, especially with those who matter most, and if you don’t know who they are yet or what that takes to determine who are start with that for me. Also please hit the gym too, meditate, look into books you love and don’t give up. You’ve got this Bud✊🏻
